Duru was born in Istanbul in 1991 and graduated from Doğuş University Graphics Department in 2013. After graduating from Yeditepe University Graphic Design Department in 2017, she was selected to Pictoplasma Academy in Berlin and studied character design.

Duru has participated in group exhibitions in Berlin, Brooklyn, and Istanbul.

As a freelance illustrator, she provides design support to publishers, and food and technology industries. At the same time, she creates ceramics and paper works as a multi-disciplinary artist.

Duru is inspired by her mood swings, nature, and spiritual side.
