Description
The informal French expression métro, boulot, dodo is a wonderfully succinct way of saying that you live to work. Métro refers to a subway commute, boulot is an informal word for work, and dodo is baby talk for sleeping.

The English equivalent - the rat race, the same old routine, work work work - don't quite capture the same sense of constant movement, and a more literal English translation, "commute, work, sleep," isn't as poetic as the French.

Here though, instead of dodo (to sleep), we go for an apéro (short for apéritif) - a good stiff drink to wind down the hard day's work!

Eva is a French illustrator and motion designer living in Nantes on the French west coast.

She used to work as a fashion designer and pattern designer for French brands in France or in Asia before coming back to France and she decides to create her own art.

Eva's drawing themes are food, people, daily life situation, women, plants and flowers. If she does not draw, you can find her in her kitchen, cooking!
